Adam Newcomb-Weiland brings two decades of experience in politics, media, policy, and legislative strategy, serving in pivotal roles for some of the most high-profile members of the U.S. Senate and on prominent political campaigns. Recognized for his leadership and ability to deliver results in complex environments, Adam is a trusted advisor at the intersection of policy and strategy.
Newcomb-Weiland has served as a legislative aide to FEMA Director and Cabinet Member James Lee Witt, then-U.S. Senator Barack Obama, and the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee. He later served as Senior Advisor to U.S. Senator Tim Johnson, during Johnson’s chairmanship of the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Senate Appropriations Subcommittee and the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committees.
As President and Managing Partner of The Sandhill Group, Adam provides strategic counsel to clients across healthcare, banking, trade, tribal affairs, defense, and homeland security issues. A graduate of the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, he remains deeply committed to service, actively contributing to multiple boards and advancing charitable initiatives.
Robert Tryzanka

Robert “Bob” Trzynka brings a unique blend of legal, technical, and legislative expertise to his work, specializing in intellectual property, indian affairs, defense, homeland security, insurance, banking, and finance. A native of Watertown, South Dakota, Trzynka earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and holds a master’s degree in computer science, combining top-tier academic credentials with practical experience.
Trzynka has served in both public and private sectors, including working in the Washington, D.C., congressional office of U.S. Senator John Thune (R-SD). During his time on Capitol Hill, he gained extensive insight into legislative and policy matters, further enhancing his ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and deliver innovative solutions for his clients.
As a trusted advisor, Trzynka provides tailored counsel to clients across a variety of industries, leveraging his deep expertise to address their most intricate challenges.
